There are people who are raised in the church, and have always dressed (at least relatively) modestly, behaved (at least relatively well), etc. That is not who I am. I am not in the least "proud" of my past, but it is an important part of understanding who I am, and it does give me a lot of wisdom and experience - a lot of lessons learned "the hard way." I am also wearing skirts and dresses – apart from the modest apparel scriptures in the NT, Deut 22:5 also states that it is an abomination for a woman to wear clothes pertaining to a man. Many people argue and say that the old Jewish men wore dresses where in fact those are mantles they wore OVER breeches.
